We took Hunter and Bebe to the dog park this evening. This was Hunters first time back since the accident last November. I was a little nervous that he was going to over extend himself and injure his leg. Instead he was awesome! He didn't try to run very much and just kept a slow pace roaming around the fields by himself. He is definitely aware of what he can and can't do. I am so glad we can finally start taking him to the park again! It was so hard for me to leave him home all the time. He has had great improvement the last two months. We are slowly increasing his activity level to what he is comfortable with. So far, he's doing really well and been a trooper!

This was Bebe's second time to the park. Last Sunday was her first. At first she was very nervous and didn't understand what to do. She stayed right between Jeff and me and kept looking up at us as if she just wanted to be picked up. Once we got her fetching sticks she started to enjoy the park. Todays visit, she acted like she owned the place. She was alert and ran up to other dogs barking announcing her arrival. I guess that means we are the owners of that annoying barking toy dog, but boy! Is she cute!
