Fibromyalgia Treatment Plan

We have started a new treatment plan for Jeff. This past month he was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The doctor put him on a medication that caused him to be tired, vomit, and in a daze. Jeff called the doctor and she told him to stay on the medication and continue to increase the dose. That is when we had enough and started looking at other options and Jeff found the Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Center of Seattle.

Jeff went in for a free consultation and knew this was the place he wanted treatment and so the journey has begun.

Jeff's first visit included getting his blood drawn (to test for viral infections, hormone deficiencies, etc) and a physical exam. He also started IV treatment today and will continue to receive IV treatment once a week and taking supplements. This is the six step program:

1. Stabilize the Patient by addressing pain and sleep disturbances
2. Mitochondrial Enhancement by improving the powerhouse of each cell, or the "mitochondria"; 3. Balance the Hormones by evaluating hypothalamus and pituitary function;
4. Treat Infectious Components and treat underlying viral infections;
5. Address Unique Etiologies such as neurotoxins and coagulation defects;
6. Provide Individualized Maintenance Program with minimally necessary medications and supplements to assure absence of symptoms
