On Friday, my mother and father-in-law came into town. Saturday, we drove to Mt. Rainier to show them the mountain. We first went to Paradise where we ate at the National Park Inn.
After lunch we stopped by two waterfalls.
Then we drove to the Paradise visitor center to grab some warm drinks! Then we made a hike up the mountain a little ways.
We had an awesome surprise for us on the way down. A deer with her two babies! We just quietly and slowly followed them down the trail.
On the way home, the east side of the mountain was just beautiful!
On Sunday, we took an afternoon trip to Alki Beach to finish the weekend. It has been lots of fun!
