So at 3:30pm I check my phone and see I have two missed calls a text from Jeff. The text reads, "Going to the ER". I'm thinking GREAT! You start a job outside of construction and you are already in the ER! I was thinking the worst....lost a limb or a digit. So I call him and find out he has crushed his finger.
I left work, I went home and collected Jeff's health insurance card and his x-rays for his other injured finger for the doc to take a look at. When I arrive at the hospital I learn Jeff has fractured the tip of his wedding ring finger. Wonderful! Now Jeff has eight working fingers.
